Privacy Policy

Calendar Alarms is developed and published by BeasNet, an iOS app development studio. This Privacy Policy describes how the Calendar Alarms app ("the App") handles information when you use it on your iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.

The short version: the App reads your Apple Calendar on your device to decide when to fire an alarm. Your calendar never leaves your device, and BeasNet has no servers that could receive it.

BeasNet does not collect, receive, store or share any of the following:

• Your calendar events, titles, descriptions or dates
• Your name, email address or any personal identifiers
• Your location or precise GPS data
• Your alarm times or linked events (these stay on your device and, with Premium, in your own iCloud)
• Any data from your microphone, camera, contacts or health information
• Payment card details or financial information (all purchases are processed by Apple)

The App uses the Facebook SDK to send limited advertising measurement events to Meta — only with your explicit consent via Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. See Section 06 for full details. If you decline, no advertising data is collected or transmitted.

Calendar Alarms requests Full Calendar Access through Apple's EventKit framework. This permission allows the App to read event titles in your Apple Calendar so it can work out which days match the events you've linked to each alarm.

This data is processed entirely on your device. It is never uploaded, shared with third parties or copied to iCloud by the App. You can revoke calendar access at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendars → Calendar Alarms. If access is revoked, the App can no longer check your calendar and alarms will not fire.

Calendar Alarms schedules its alarms with Apple's AlarmKit framework and uses Apple's UNUserNotificationCenter for notifications. Both run entirely on your iPhone — alarms and notifications are created and delivered by your device and never pass through a BeasNet server.

You can manage alarm and notification permissions at any time in Settings → Calendar Alarms and Settings → Notifications → Calendar Alarms.

The App uses BGAppRefreshTask to run a nightly calendar scan in the background. This reads your on-device calendar and reschedules your alarms for the coming 60 days. No data is transmitted externally during this process, and it runs only when your device allows it.

The Calendar Alarms app includes the Facebook SDK (Meta Platforms, Inc.) for advertising measurement. It helps us understand whether our ads lead to app installs and key in-app actions, so we can assess our campaigns.

Before any data is collected, iOS shows Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. You must explicitly tap Allow for any advertising data to be collected. If you tap Ask App Not to Track, the Facebook SDK does not collect or transmit any identifying data.

If you allow tracking, the following events may be sent to Meta:

• App activated — each time the app is opened
• First alarm created — once, the first time you save an alarm
• In-app purchase — if you buy the Sound Library or Calendar Alarms Premium, with the purchase amount and currency (read from Apple's StoreKit — never hardcoded)

No calendar data, alarm settings, event names or personal identifiers are included in any of these events. Data sent to Meta is governed by Meta's own Privacy Policy. You can change your decision at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

No other third-party SDKs, analytics libraries or advertising networks are present in the app.

This website (beasnet.com) uses the Meta Pixel, a tracking script provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. The Pixel is used only to measure the effectiveness of our advertising — for example, whether visitors to this website go on to download Calendar Alarms from the App Store.

The Meta Pixel is only loaded if you explicitly accept cookies in the consent banner shown on your first visit. If you decline, the Pixel is never loaded and no data is sent to Meta. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site.

When the Pixel is active, Meta may set cookies and collect information such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited and the referring URL. This data is processed by Meta under its own Privacy Policy. BeasNet does not receive or store any of this data.

No other third-party scripts, analytics tools or advertising networks are present on this website.

The App stores the following on your device using standard iOS storage:

• Alarm settings — your alarm times, linked calendar event names, snooze length and chosen alarm sound
• Purchase status — which purchases you've made (Sound Library or Calendar Alarms Premium), verified with Apple's StoreKit 2 each time the app opens

iCloud sync (Calendar Alarms Premium). If you have Premium and iCloud is turned on, your alarm settings are synced through your own private iCloud account so they appear on your other iPhones and iPads. This uses Apple's iCloud service: the data is held in your iCloud account, BeasNet cannot access it, and your calendar events themselves are never copied. You can stop syncing by turning off iCloud for Calendar Alarms in your iPhone's iCloud settings.

Apple Watch and widgets (Calendar Alarms Premium). The Apple Watch companion and the home screen and lock screen widgets show your upcoming alarms. Your iPhone passes this information directly to your paired Apple Watch and to widgets on the same device — none of it goes to BeasNet.

This data is:

• Never uploaded to BeasNet servers — BeasNet has none
• Included in your iCloud or iTunes/Finder backup if device backup is enabled, under Apple's standard backup policies
• Deleted from a device when you delete the App from it. A copy synced to iCloud stays in your iCloud account until you remove it in your iCloud settings

Calendar Alarms offers two optional one-off in-app purchases: the Sound Library (15 extra alarm sounds) and Calendar Alarms Premium (the 15 sounds plus the home screen widget, iCloud sync and the Apple Watch companion). Neither is a subscription. Both are processed entirely through Apple's StoreKit 2 framework. BeasNet does not handle, process or store any payment information. All billing is managed by Apple under its own Terms of Service.

Purchase status is verified on your device using StoreKit 2's transaction record each time the app opens. This does not involve BeasNet servers.

If you believe a purchase was made in error, refunds are handled directly by Apple through the App Store.

Calendar Alarms does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. BeasNet collects no personal data through the App, so it presents no specific risks relating to children's privacy. It is suitable for users of all ages.

If we update this Privacy Policy, the revised version will be published on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this page from time to time.

Continued use of the App after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
